A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on December 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions. The purpose of this project is to address current issues with of Bridge Nos. 04770 and 04771 and open Brook Road #2 to vehicular traffic by building a replacement structure that meets all current design standards.
Right-of-way impacts associated with the proposed improvements include private, town, and state property and will consist of temporary construction easements for access, grading, and water handling, as well as a partial take for replacement of existing structures.
Construction is expected to start in spring 2027, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $5.6 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
