Wrong Way Detection Installations on Route 2 West and Eastbound Ramps at Exit 3 in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a wrong way detection installation will be performed on Route 2 westbound Exit 3 Founders Bridge ramp to East Hartford and Route 2 Eastbound left exit in East Hartford. This project is to be begin Thursday, April 25, 2024.
This work is performed by CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1 and TAPCO representatives.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on Route 2 westbound Exit 3 Founders bridge ramp and Route 2 Eastbound left exit in East Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. Regular work schedule for this project is from April 25 to 26, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
