The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the replacement of highway signage on I-84 east and west from Manchester/Vernon Town Line to the CT/MA state lines will begin on February 5, 2024.
This will include lane shoulder and lane closures for activities associated with the installation of foundations and overhead structures.
CTDOT Project No. 0146-0203 was awarded to A.M. Rizzo Electrical Contractors, Inc. at a cost of $10,628,318.50 on October 23, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed November 16, 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-84 east and westbound, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and Saturday and Sundays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
