The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and paving operation will require lane closures and alternating traffic at the Intersection of Route 1 (Tresser Boulevard) and 137 (Washington Boulevard) in Stamford. The milling operation is scheduled to occur the night of Wednesday, May 29 through the morning of Friday May 31, 2024. The paving operation is scheduled to occur the night of Tuesday, June 4 through the morning of Friday June 7, 2024.
The milling and paving operation will be performed by A&J Construction.

Motorists can expect lane closures and alternating traffic at the intersection of Route 1 (Tresser Boulevard) and 137 (Washington Boulevard). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday-Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
