Lane Closure with One Way Alternating Traffic on Route 45 in Warren

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that start of one-way alternating traffic directed by traffic signalization on Route 45 at Curtis Road in Warren will begin on May 28, 2024. This project involves stabilizing an eroded roadway support slope along Route 45 at Lake Waramaug Brook in Warren, and includes removal of existing abutments from the stream, construction of a slope stabilization treatment, reconstruction of the roadway and guiderail and paving and pavement markings.

CTDOT Project No. 0149-0088 was awarded to Black & Warner Construction at a cost of $1,302,036.00 on March 15, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed October 2024.  This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 4 in Thomaston.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

There will be a lane closure in the Northbound Lane of Route 45 near the Curtis Road Intersection on 45 continuously. Temporary signalization is in place to direct traffic safely through alternating one-way traffic.
