Wrong Way Detection Installation: I-691 Eastbound Meriden Exit 2A
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a Wrong Way Detection Installation will be performed on the I-691 eastbound Exit 2A in Meriden starting on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-691 eastbound at exit 2A. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Detour to Preston Ave, left off ramp, left on I-691 westbound proceed to exit 2 west. Regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday October 3, 2023.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
