Wrong Way Detection Installation: I-84 Westbound Exit 57 HOV Ramp in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a wrong way detection installation project will be performed on I-84 westbound in East Hartford on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
This project is administered by CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 westbound exit ramp 57 HOV in East Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Wednesday.
Traffic will be detoured to Exit 57 Charter Oak Bridge then take Exit 90 Silver Lane.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
