Opening of Route 147 from West Street to Route 157 in Middlefield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the planned opening of Route 147 from West Street to Route 157 in Middlefield on December 14, 2023. The road opening signifies the substantial completion of the Emergency Declaration Project of the roadway embankment repairs along Route 147 in Middlefield. 

CTDOT Project No. 0081-0095 was awarded to Spazzarini Construction Co., LLC of Enfield, CT on May 18, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed by December 18, 2023. This is an Emergency Declaration project administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction - District 1 in Rocky Hill.
