The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing night work in Granby for construction activities associated with the intersection improvements at Route 10/202, Route 20, and Route 189 will begin on Sunday night, April 2 and will continue through June 1, 2023.
The project consists of drainage and sidewalk improvements and widening of the intersections on Route 10/202 at Route 20 and Route 189. The project also involves paving, replacing all traffic signals, crosswalk signals and cameras along with new plantings.
DOT Project No. 0055-0142 was awarded to Schultz Corporation, of Terryville, CT., at a cost of $6,448,423.60 on September 28,2021 and is scheduled to be completed in September 2023. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 4 in Thomaston.
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
VMS on all major roads entering project. Follow posted detours and lane closures. One-way alternating traffic will be maintained during lane closures. Bank street will be used for any detours.
