The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 39 Danbury from Route 53 (Main Street) to New Fairfield Town Line.
The project consists of resurfacing a 4.69-mile segment of Route 39 in Danbury. This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday July 26, 2022 and is scheduled to be completed Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. The regular work schedule for this project is Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
