The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 800 in the City of Torrington, from Church Street to Burrville Quarry No. 4.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.85 mile of Route 800 Torrington. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday, August 7, 2022 and be completed Monday, August 22, 2022. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 and be completed on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. with some daytime milling & paving scheduled for the Section of roadway between Kennedy Drive and Burrville Quarry No. 4. Regular work hours for daytime work will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
