The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 136 in Norwalk.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.39 miles of Route 136 in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, September 13, 2022 through Wednesday September 21, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 through Thursday, September 15, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, September 19, 2022 through Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 136 from Water Street to East Avenue. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
