The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Route 110 in Monroe.
The project consists of milling and paving resurfacing 1.53 miles of Route 110 in the Town of Monroe. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, October 17, 2022 through Monday October 31, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 17, 2022 through Monday, October 24, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 24, 2022 through Monday, October 31, 2022.
This project is an addition to the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 from old tannery Road #4 to Monroe Turnpike. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
