The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that blasting for rock removal on Route 15/Wilbur Cross Parkway to begin on Monday August 1, 2022.
The existing entrance ramp from Route 34 to Route 15 (southbound) is being extended to improve safety and sightline distance.
This work requires rock blasting to fracture the existing large rock shelf and allow for its efficient removal. The rock blasting operation will be performed intermittently throughout the month of August.
