The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 19 from Route 190 (East Main Street) to Hydeville Road in Stafford.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.02-mile segment of Route 19 from Route 190 (East Main Street) to Hydeville Road in Stafford. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 to Monday, June 7, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, June 14, 2021 to Monday, June 21, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 19 from Route 190 (East Main Street) to Hydeville Road in Stafford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
