The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 510 from South Main Street to King Street in East Windsor and Enfield.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.51-mile segment of Route 510 from South Main Street to King Street in the towns of East Windsor and Enfield. This milling portion of the project is will occur on Monday, August 30, 2021, to Friday, September 3, 2021. The resurfacing portion of the project will occur on Thursday, September 9, 2021, to Monday, September 20, 2021. No work will be performed on the day before or after the Labor Day Holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 510 from South Main Street to King Street in East Windsor and Enfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
