The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 25 northbound and southbound in Trumbull.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 0.37 miles of Route 25 in northbound and southbound in Trumbull. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, June 27, 2021, through Friday, July 9, 2021. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, June 27, 2021, through Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, through Friday, July 9, 2021.
No work will occur during the weekend of July 4th from Friday morning July 2, 2021, through Monday, July 5, 2021. Work will resume on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 25 northbound and southbound from 0.37 miles south of Route 111 (Main Street) to Route 111 (Main Street). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Saturday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
