Milling and Resurfacing on Route 123 in New Canaan and Norwalk
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 123 in New Canaan and Norwalk.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing of 2.92 miles of Route 123 New Canaan and Norwalk. The project is scheduled to occur on Sunday night July 11, 2021 through Thursday morning July 22, 2021.
This project is being performed by the Eversource Gas Company under encroachment permits.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 123 northbound and southbound from Lakeview Avenue in New Canaan to Silvermine Avenue in Norwalk.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday nights).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
