Drainage System Maintenance Activity Scheduled on Route 7 in New Milford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that drainage maintenance will be performed on Route 7 in New Milford.
The work consists of repairing drainage on Route 7 in New Milford at Everwood Drive. Work is scheduled to occur on Saturday, September 25, 2021, through Sunday, September 26, 2021 (rain date of October 2 and October 3, 2021).
Motorists can expect a road closure on Route 7 at Everwood Drive. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. A detour will be set up taking motorists to Route 37, Route 39N, Route 55, and back to Route 7. The work schedule for this project is set to begin at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday until completion.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
