There is a text message scam that looks like an official CT.gov page, but it is not. There are no tolls in Connecticut and the State of Connecticut will never ask you to pay a toll fee.

The project involves the rehabilitation of an existing stone masonry wall that supports a portion of U.S. Route 1 (West Main Street) roadway in Mystic.

DOT Project No. 0058-0335 was awarded to Lawrence Brunoli Inc. of Farmington, Connecticut at a cost of $1,022,000.00 on July 27, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2021. This project is administered by the District 2 Construction in Norwich.

DETOUR INFO-

The continued roadway closure is necessary due to a procurement of materials issue and field conditions encountered.  A detour route is provided with necessary signing to guide vehicular traffic around the project site.

The detour route is as follows: from the project site, proceed on U.S. Route 1 Northbound to the intersection with Route 215. Turn left onto Route 215 Eastbound (EB). Continue on Route 215 EB for 7.5 miles to the intersection with U. S. Route 1.  End detour.

For dates after the scheduled detour, traffic may experience delays Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.  Also, delays may be experienced on Saturdays and Sundays between 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 A.M.

Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and to proceed with caution through all other construction work zones.
