Daytime Closure of Route 110 for Rehabilitation of Bridge  02621 and Replacement of Bridge  02622 in Stratford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work associated with the replacement of Bridge 02621 (Route 110 over Pumpkin Ground Brook) in Stratford will require the closure of Route 110 on November 11, 2016 beginning at 9:00 AM and reopening by 3:00 PM.
Motorists traveling northbound on Route 110 will be detoured onto Cutspring Road, Chapel Street and Main Street until rejoining Route 110 near the intersection of Route 15.  Motorists traveling southbound on Route 110 will be detoured onto Main Street, Chapel Street and Cutspring Road until rejoining Route 110, south of East Main Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
This $3,012,062 project involves the rehabilitation of Bridge No. 02621 (Route 110 over Pumpkin Ground Brook) and the replacement of Bridge No. 02622 (Route 110 over Freeman Brook) in the Town of Stratford. The project began on March 16, 2016 and will run through November of 2016.
