The Department of Developmental Services offers programs and support throughout Connecticut. We've divided the state into three regions to serve our communities better. Below are links to the services and programs in your area, as well as ways to get in touch and other helpful information.

Southbury Training School

Southbury Training

Connecticut's Residential Facility

Located in Southbury, Connecticut, the Southbury Training School is Connecticut’s only large residential school for individuals with intellectual disability. It provides health services, job training, therapy, housing, and other important supports.
