The mission of the Connecticut School Building Projects Advisory Council, created under Connecticut General Statutes Section10-292q, is to provide recommendations and establish standards and guidelines for achievement on all major capital school construction, renovations, and alterations projects. The Council is dedicated to building and modernizing Connecticut schools in a responsible, cost-effective manner while achieving the highest standards of excellence in efficiently designed, safe, and environmentally sound facilities, with further reforms designed to provide accountability and protect taxpayer dollars.
