State Properties Review Board (SPRB)
OverviewThe mission of the State Properties Review Board is to provide oversight of State real estate activities, acquisition of farm development rights, and the hiring of architects, engineers and other construction-related professionals, as proposed by State Executive Branch agencies. In accomplishing this legislative mandate, the Board provides guidance and assistance to State client-agencies to ensure that transactions are done in a prudent, business-like manner, that costs are reasonable, and that proposals are in compliance with State laws, regulations and procedures.
Schedule of Regular Meetings
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1-225 of the Connecticut General Statutes, this is to advise that the State Properties Review Board meets twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays in Suite 2035, 450Columbus Boulevard, Hartford. If a holiday falls on a meeting day, that meeting is usually scheduled for either the day preceding he holiday or the following business day.
Pursuant to Governor Lamont’s Executive Order No. 7B regarding suspension of In-Person Open Meeting requirements, the SPRB is conducting its meeting remotely via conference call until further notice. These meetings are open to public. With deep concern for everyone’s health and well-being, the Board is encouraging and offering the option of calling in to the meeting via conference phone. All Board meetings are posted on its website in accordance with Section23 of Public Act 07-213 and are subject to Sections1-200, 1-210 and 4b-27 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Therefore, portions or all of said meetings that are exempt from public disclosure, may be held in Executive Session.
