Lift and Shift
When an Agency goes through a Lift and Shift migration process, all content, documents, and folders existing on their old website are imported into the Sitecore system as is. Any reorganizing or additions/deletions is done post migration.
Lift and Shift Content Authors can:
- Create a New Page (DSF Legacy Template)
- Edit an existing Page (DSF Legacy Template)
- Preview a Page
- Lock and Unlock a Page
- Manage Page Versions
- Submit a Page for Approval
- Upload an Image
- Upload a Document File
- Over-write an existing image or file
- Deleting a linked image or document file
- Publish a Page without a Workflow (Temporary function for approved Agencies)
Lift and Shift Content Approvers can:
- Approve/Reject Pages
- Same functions as Content Authors
Lift and Shift System Administrators can:
- Create a New Page
- Edit a Page
- Create Press Releases
- Create a Boards/Commission Page (if enabled)
- Create Content Folders
- Assign a Workflow to a Folder
- Change Folder Settings
- Rename a Folder or Page
- Delete Folders and Pages
- Delete Document Files or Images
- Create Agency Homepage Navigation
- Create Agency Local Navigation
- Add, Edit, and Delete Approvers receiving email notices
- Create Friendly URLs
- Edit the Agency Landing Page
- Approve or Reject a Page
- Publish a Page via By-pass Approval Process
- Publish a Folder or Navigation item
- Unpublish a Page, Folder, Image, or Document File
- Same functions as Content Authors
- Same functions as Content Approvers
