Camp Harkness is nestled in a quaint area of New England, with one of the most picturesque waterfronts on Long Island Sound, bordering Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT.  It is fully accessible with numerous opportunities for campers to explore and enjoy the area.  With a beautiful beach front, open fields, and wheelchair accessible trails, it truly is a destination vacation.

 

Campers have use of air-conditioned cabins with fully equipped restrooms.  The grounds include an accessible boardwalk at the beach, activity areas, flower gardens, koi pond, campfire circles and a multipurpose area that serves as a dining hall, and additional activity space.  On grounds are two adaptable swings by pavilions and Cottage 1.
