Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
Least Restrictive Environment
DDS is collaborating with the State Department of Education (SDE) to provide five workshops (one per region), for Parents, Educational Liaisons, Transition Coordinators, Case Managers, and Case Management Supervisors about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) - Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
These workshops are part of the bigger initiative on the part of SDE to work with the CT Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC) to provide training to parents as this relates to implementation of the settlement agreement for P. J., et al. v. State of Connecticut Board of Education, et al.
