About the New Haven Area Respite Center
 
The New Haven Area Respite Center is located at Hamden, and is most easily accessed from the Merritt Parkway.  The Center is a barrier-free ranch-style home with a large dining area, full kitchen, 4 bedrooms with one being a single room, a living room and a family room.
 
The Center does not have 24-hour on-site nursing, so some individuals with more complex medical issues may need to use one of the other Respite Centers within the South Region.
 
The Center is located near shopping, parks, nature preserves and the many recreational and leisure activities offered within the greater New Haven area.
