About the Windsor Family Respite Center
The Windsor Respite Center has six respite beds available including one double and four single rooms. Staffing consists of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) trained staff and a nurse who is available to administer prescribed medications and treatments 24 hours a day. The entire home is accessible with bathing facilities that include a roll-in shower and whirlpool tub with a lift. There is also wheelchair access to the enclosed back yard with a gazebo that offers a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Respite Center is located close to several malls and shopping centers, restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley, a skating rink, parks and a petting zoo. The location in a quiet residential neighborhood contributes to the respite center’s comfortable homelike atmosphere.
