About the Newington Family Respite Center
The Newington Respite Center has six respite beds available in three double rooms. Staffing consists of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) trained staff and a nurse who is available to administer prescribed medications and treatments 24 hours a day. Bathrooms feature adjustable showerhead and rails, and a whirlpool tub with a lift. The patio offers a chance to socialize with friends while getting a breath of fresh air. The Newington Respite Center is located just minutes from a shopping mall, movie theater, bowling alley, miniature golf course, parks and restaurants.
