What is PRAT?
 
PRAT is the Regional Planning and Resource Allocation Team which ensures that all individuals served by DDS are treated fairly and equitably in the allocation of resources.
  • PRAT is a committee composed of DDS Staff in the region including Assistant Regional Directors.
  • The PRAT committee meets at least once a month.
PRAT Responsibilities;
  • Reviews each request and assigns a funding amount. Your Case Manager will prepare and submit the funding packet for the PRAT team.
  • The request is made specific to the needs of your loved one.  It’s important to make sure that all specific support needs are clearly identified in the PRAT request. These are some of the documents that are included in the packet:  The Individual Plan, Level of Need Assessment, Professional Evaluations, Therapy Services, Day Support Evaluation, Residential Evaluations.
