The role of Freedom of Information Compliance Office is to ensure the Department of Developmental Services’ (DDS) compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, Connecticut General Statutes §§ 1-200 through 1-242, especially §1-210, relating to access to public records. The Freedom of Information Compliance Office receives and responds to any and all requests for information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act.
