DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES (DDS) 
JOB FAIRS FOR EXISTING DDS EMPLOYEES

For a number of reasons, DDS has found that internal job fairs have allowed employees to continue to provide support to individuals served by the agency in new or different work settings.  DDS, the Union and the Office of Labor Relations have authorized these job fairs, and we have found that virtual job fairs have helped the efficient review and selection of new assignments by all concerned stakeholders.  Feel free to check this page regularly for internal job fair announcements and detailed information specific to each job fair.

DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES WORKER (DSW2) Full-Time/Part-Time Selection Event

For:  Staff who applied to recruitment number #260305-5662HN; Cert# 26839

Eligible staff who have successfully completed their working test period; have a service rating of satisfactory or above; and who have not transferred within the past twelve (12) months. Please note, that this is not a job fair. This is an internal selection event for applicants who applied to the DSW2 Full-Time/Part-Time job posting.

When: Tuesday, April 21st & April 23rd (back-up date for any opportunities that remain unfilled)

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Where:  Microsoft TEAMS.  All eligible applicants will receive a notice via Job Aps and email communication to the email address listed on their application with the selection event instructions and an email from Human Resources with their designated timeslots as to when the employee can expect their call from management to make their selection. Opportunities will be offered via Seniority order.

DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES (DS) CASE MANAGER JOB FAIR

For: Current DS Case Managers with permanent caseload assignments who have completed their working test periods.
Re: Lateral Transfer Opportunities.
When: Monday, June 1, 2026 through Sunday, June 7, 2026

DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES WORKER (DSW1) PART-TIME JOB FAIR

For:
  1. DSW1 staff hired into permanent part-time (17.5 hours/week) positions with temporary assignments.
  2. DSW1 staff who hold 17.5 hours/week assignments and who have completed their Working Test Period.
