Resource Information for Staff Affected by Job Loss Transition
Message from the Commissioner
This is a challenging time for the Department of Developmental Services and other state agencies working to meet significant and ongoing financial challenges in our state. DDS has been and will continue to be committed to identifying efficiencies in operations that minimize disruption of services and staff as much as possible within continuing financial constraints.
We are committed to handling necessary layoffs with the utmost respect, dignity, and information about options that every member of our staff deserves. While this is a time of uncertainty, I can assure you that DDS will remain committed to our mission and the people we support. I am extremely grateful to you all for carrying on the critical work we do for some of the state’s most vulnerable residents. Thank you for your ongoing commitment, professionalism, and resilience during this difficult time.
