Instructions for Using Language Link Services

Receiving a Call from a Non -English Speaker (NES)
Use this option if you receive a call from a Non English speaker
 
Step 1: Ask Caller to Hold
 
Step 2: Select the FLASH button
 
Step 3: Dial LanguageLink 1 888-338-7394
 
Step 4: Enter Account Number 27776, followed by # sign
 
Step 5: Select 1 to be connected directly to your Spanish interpreter, or
 
Select 2 to be connected directly to your Russian Interpreter, or
 
Select 3 to be connected directly to your Vietnamese interpreter, or
 
Select 4 to be connected directly to your Somali Interpreter, or
 
Select 9 for all other languages
 
Step 6: Enter Phone Number you are calling from, followed by # sign
 
Once connected to an interpreter, brief him or her on what you want to accomplish, then select the FLASH button to conference in the Non English speaker.

 
Making an Outbound Call to Language Link Services
Use this option if you need to call a Non English speaking individual or family OR if the Non English Speaker is nearby and you want to use the speakerphone
 
Step 1: Dial LanguageLink 1 888-338-7394
 
Step 2: Enter Account Number 27776, followed by # sign
 
Step 3: Select 1 to be connected directly to your Spanish interpreter, or
 
Select 2 to be connected directly to your Russian Interpreter, or
 
Select 3 to be connected directly to your Vietnamese interpreter, or
 
Select 4 to be connected directly to your Somali Interpreter, or
 
Select 9 for all other languages
 
Step 4: Enter Phone Number you are calling from, followed by # sign
