Questions Your Child Will Want You to Ask:   What adaptations or supports are available to help me learn new skills?  Is there assistive technology to help me learn new skills?  Do I know how to ask for help to learn new things?  What will I do during the day now that I am an adult?  What are the things I really like to do?  Can I find a job or volunteer opportunity based on the things I like or want to do?  Will I have a full time job, part-time job, volunteer or go to some type of program?  Where can I learn or improve my employment skills?  Can I turn my interest into a way to make an income or start a business?  Do I know how to build a long-term career?  Do I know how to find ways to continue learning at my job, through volunteering, in the community, or with my friends?  Are there any post-secondary or continuing educational opportunities I may want to explore?
