Mosquito Advisory
The State of CT Department of Public Health, State Mosquito Management Program announced on August 7, 2012 that mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile virus (WNV) have been identified in 32 towns so far this season. The virus has been confirmed in mosquitoes trapped in a widening area of Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties.
Please ensure those responsible are aware of this mosquito advisory and implement appropriate precautions to keep people safe.
