RE:	SAFETY ADVISORY: Black Bear Safety Measures

This Safety Advisory is to advise that there have been numerous black bear sightings in residential areas across the state.  This type of close contact between bears and humans can develop into a very dangerous situation.  The attached article from the CT Department of Enviromental Protection describes some safety measures that should be taken to address this problem.  Please review this article and share it liberally with people receiving services and supports from the department and their support staff.
