Abuse and Neglect Investigator Training

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) offers an introductory Abuse and Neglect Investigator Training Series for department and private provider agency employees. The training series is offered two to three times annually based on the needs of agencies responsible for conducting investigations. The training series includes an Overview of Statutes and Policies associated with abuse and neglect investigations, Preparing for the Investigation, the Investigative Process and the Investigation Report.

In addition to the introductory training series, the department also offers periodic enhancement training for current investigators.
