CT Gateway now hosts the state’s Construction Contractor Prequalification application

Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Commissioner Michelle Gilman today announced that she is appointing Lauri Volkert to serve as state fire marshal beginning on December 2, 2024. Volkert will be the first woman to hold the position. Volkert has served as fire marshal for the Town of Windsor since 2023 and previously served as a fire inspector for the town.

The Commission for Educational Technology, an office within the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS), is being awarded more than $9 million in federal funding to launch key initiatives outlined in the state’s digital equity plan.

Connecticut received national recognition for its ongoing digital government efforts.
