• 9/16/2019 Public Information Meeting Scheduled for Proposed Roundabout at the Intersection of Fenn Road and Ella Grasso Boulevard in Newington

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Management Unit will be holding a public information meeting regarding the proposed roundabout at the intersection of Fenn Road and Ella Grasso Boulevard in Newington. The meeting will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2019, in the Newington Senior & Disabled Center Auditorium; 120 Cedar Street, Newington, CT 06111. A design presentation will start at 7:00 p.m. and a question and answer period immediately following.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that ADA installation of concrete sidewalk ramps will be performed on Route 53 (Newtown Ave.) in Norwalk, Monday, September 23, through Friday, October 4, 2019.

• 9/9/2019 Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on Route 15 North and South in Hamden

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) northbound and southbound in Hamden, beginning on the evening of Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

• 9/9/2019 Intermittent Daily Closures of I-84 Westbound Travel Lanes at Exit 71 in Willington from September 10, 2019, to October 1, 2019

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing intermittent daily lane closures, Monday through Friday, beginning September 10, 2019, through October 1, 2019, of I-84 Wetbound Exit 71 in Willington. The lane closures are necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of Bridge 02169 carrying I-84 over Lower Ruby Brook in Willington. Travel lane closures will be from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

• 9/8/2019 Resurfacing Project on Quaddick Town Farm Road - East Putnam Road in Thompson and Putnam

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on a 2.90-mile segment of State Service Route 438 (Quaddick Town Farm Road/ East Putnam Road) in Thompson and Putnam, Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, 2019.

• 9/8/2019 Nighttime Bridge Deck Repairs and Resurfacing Project along Route 34 in New Haven

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling, bridge deck repair and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 34 in New Haven, Monday, September 16, through Saturday, September 21, 2019.

• 9/8/2019 Resurfacing Project on Route 80 in Killingworth and Deep River

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 80 (Deep River Rd.) in Killingworth and Deep River, Monday, September 16, through Monday, October 14, 2019.

• 9/8/2019 Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on Route 8 in Seymour

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will continue on Route 8 North and South between Exits 19 and 24 in Seymour through Friday, October 18, 2019.

• 9/8/2019 Resurfacing Project on Route 89 in Ashford and Union

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.56-mile segment of Route 89 in Ashford and Union, Monday, September 30, through Monday, October 14, 2019.

• 9/5/2019 Lane Closures for Bridge Inspections September 7-14 2019

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 southbound in New London, Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2019.

• 9/4/2019 Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-395 in Putnam

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge membrane project will be performed on I-395 northbound and southbound in Putnam through Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

• 9/2/2019 Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 89 in Ashford and Union

  The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.56 mile segment of Route 89 in Ashford and Union. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, September 30, 2019, through Wednesday, October 2, 2019. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, October 3, 2019, through Monday, October 14, 2019.
