The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) recently held a very successful and informative Employment First Kick-off event to launch it's initiative to focus on employment for the people supported by DDS. As a follow up to this event, DDS is sponsoring a training day on employment for individuals supported by DDS, their families, providers, and DDS staff.

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is currently accepting nomination forms for the 2008 Nurse Recognition Awards for both the public and private sector. Each year Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who have a made a significant contribution to the lives of individuals they support are recognized at the DDS Annual Health and Clinical Services Conference.
