RE: FOOD RECALL ADVISORY:  FDA Warns Consumers Not to Eat ANY Agricola Daniella Mangoes
Food Recall Advisory
The State of CT Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Section announced on September 14, 2012 the following food recall:
Subject: At this time FDA is warning consumers not to eat any Daniella mangoes (from Agricola Daniella, a supplier located in Sinaloa, Mexico) and has placed an import alert that will prevent entry of the product into the United States unless the importer can show proof that they are not contaminated with Salmonella.  The mangoes have been linked to an outbreak of Salmonella Braenderup that has caused illness in 105 people in 15 states.  To date, no illnesses related to this outbreak have been reported in Connecticut.
