SAFETY ALERT
This Safety Alert is to advise of a potential health hazard related to the consumption of certain chicken products. The products identified in the attached USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service News and Recall Release dated January 26, 2008, contain an Italian seasoning which includes milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
Please ensure a review of the allergy status of the people you support to determine whether or not consuming these products poses a risk to their health. Also, review your food stores to determine whether or not the identified products are present. If the identified products are present, address appropriately.
