What is BizNet?
BizNet is an application framework to develop and support custom applications. The system helps users design applications without needing to learn complex computer languages. It’s a low-code system to create apps that drive success. BizNet is:
- A .net website-hosted environment with a SQL Server database back-end
- A self-service, single sign-on framework with some shared data
BizNet has been used to create more than 100 applications for the State of Connecticut. These apps help people do business with the State, find a State job, get emergency services, and much more.

BizNet is for the State of Connecticut’s:
- Executive Branch
- Constitutional Offices
- Quasi-Public Agencies
It has been used to create applications for:
- Doing business with the State
- Working for the State
- State regulations, services, and forms
- Emergency services
- Search engines
How to get started
To request a web app, please contact your agency’s IT Service Desk or local IT support for assistance. They will determine whether they can fulfill your request locally.
