Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) (azureedge.us)
SNAP: To see if your household is eligible for SNAP, visit DSS’ ConneCT Pre-Screening tool at www.connect.ct.gov. In Connecticut, a household may be eligible for SNAP benefits if children in the household qualify for free or reduced-price meals at school or S-EBT.
Summer Meals Program: Children receiving S-EBT benefits can also visit a Summer Meals site. At these sites, children 18 years old and younger receive a nutritious meal at no cost. To find a site, visit https://www.fns.usda.gov/meals4kids and enter your address as directed; or call The USDA National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479); or you can call 211. Participating in Summer Meals does not reduce your S-EBT benefits.

SNAP Employment & Training: SNAP Employment & Training is a work program that offers numerous training opportunities at no cost to you. If you are receiving SNAP and not receiving money from TFA, you may be eligible to participate. For more information visit http://www.ct.gov/snap/employmentandtraining.

SNAP4CT: Connecticut offers additional free nutritional information at https://www.snap4ct.org/.Visit the website to access a free nutritionist, recipes, a calendar of nutrition education events, and more.
Stretch your food budget further with WIC: Households with kids under five years of age, new moms, and pregnant or breastfeeding women may be eligible to receive healthy foods, free nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to helpful resources. Free Head Start: All children up to five years of age receiving SNAP benefits are eligible for FREE Head Start/Early Head Start programming. Head Start provides programs that develop early learning skills, healthy lifestyles, language and literacy skills, and other academic needs.
