Summer EBT - S-EBT
Who Is Eligible?
Your child will get S-EBT benefits automatically and will NOT need to apply if:
- They are 5 to 18 years old anytime between July 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, AND:
- got SNAP or TFA or
- HUSKY A with income of 185% FPL or less
*Note: some HUSKY medical programs do not qualify for automatic benefits and households will need to apply for S-EBT benefits.
OR
- Your child’s school takes part in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) AND:
- You applied for NSLP through your child’s school and your child was eligible to get free or reduced priced meals at their school during the 2025 – 2026 school year.
- Your child is experiencing homelessness, is a runaway, or is in foster care; or
- Your child attends a qualifying Head Start program.
Your child will get S-EBT benefits if you apply, AND:
- Your child does not meet any of the above,
- Your child attends an NSLP school, and
- Your household income is less than 185% FPL.

IMPORTANT: If you applied for and got S-EBT benefits between July 1, and August 31, 2025, you should automatically get S-EBT again in summer 2026. If not, we will let you know, and you will need to apply for 2026 S-EBT benefits.
