Will S-EBT Affect My Children's Ability To Receive Meals At School?

You will not need to apply for free or reduced-priced meals in the fall if you were approved for S-EBT and your application included:

a. the last 4-digits of the Head of Household SSN

or  

b. the Head of Household checked the box that they do not have a SSN.

These children will be automatically certified with their school for free or reduced-priced meals.



You will need to apply for free or reduced-priced meals in the fall if:

a. the S-EBT application was denied

or

b. the Head of Household did not give their SSN

and

c. the Head of Household did not check the box that they do not have a SSN.
