NOTICE:

Connecticut passed new legislation requiring DSS to spread out SNAP benefit issuance dates throughout the month rather than concentrating them in the first few days. Read up on the changes that start March 1.

DSS benefits have changed due to the federal budget reconciliation bill (H.R.1). Find out how it will impact you on our website, which answers questions about work requirements and exemptions for SNAP and HUSKY (Medicaid).

S-EBT Online Application

Thank you for your interest in S-EBT.

Applications for 2025 benefits are now closed.
You can still apply, but it will only count for free or reduced-price school meals if it meets federal rules. If not, you'll need to complete your school’s meal application. If your application is approved, it may also be used for 2026 S-EBT benefits, expected in Summer 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: By clicking the link to the S-EBT application, you will be leaving the Connecticut Social Service's website to use a third-party application.
