What is the schedule for grants offering in the upcoming grant cycle?
The grant schedule for Fiscal Year 2026 is not yet available and will be posted at this link once it becomes available. At this time the following programs are anticipated to run in FY26:
- Supporting Arts
- Every Child Art Experience
- CT Arts Endowment Fund
- Elizabeth L. Mahaffey Arts Administration Fellowship
Grants for artists will not be available in FY26. COA is working to strengthen and support other programs and services for artists at this time - VLA, Assets for Artists, Art in Public Spaces, Accessibility, etc. Be sure you are receiving our e-news for information about activities occurring throughout the year.

Supporting Arts

Artist Fellowship
Award-based grants for eligible Connecticut artists that support the development of new work. Updated program guidelines and the application will be available in mid-June, 2024. Learn more about the Artist Fellowship Program.

Funding Period: 3/1/25 - 2/28/26
Final Report Due: 3/31/26
Every Child Art Experience
Grants for eligible schools to fund bringing students to an arts experience. Updated program guidelines and the application will be available in mid-June, 2024. Learn more about the Every Child Art Experience Program.

Funding Period: 1/1/25 - 6/30/25
Final Report Due: 7/31/25
Connecticut Arts Endowment Fund (CAEF)

Funding Period: 4/15/25 - 10/15/25

EMPOWER
Grants support small and medium-sized arts organizations located in under-resourced communities and invest in multi-year support that includes coaching, workshops, and cohort engagement. Learn more about the EMPOWER Grant Program.

Elizabeth L. Mahaffey Arts Administration Fellowship

Funding Period: A full year following award notification.
